Quimixto is a hidden gem near Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, with less than 500 residents. This laid-back fishing village offers a serene escape from the crowds, boasting pristine beaches, lush jungles, and a tranquil atmosphere. Visitors can hike to the picturesque Quimixto Waterfall, relax on the golden sands of Playa Quimixto, and enjoy delicious seafood at beachfront restaurants.

Quimixto is one of my favorite beaches in Puerto Vallarta. On one side, there are beach clubs and restaurants, but on the other, there are secluded places to relax under swaying palm trees. There’s also the option to camp here in front of the ocean!
