Banging coffee and toasties here!

Once known as the "Hell Hole of the Pacific," Russell in New Zealand's Bay of Islands was a wild and lawless place back in the day. Whalers, sailors, and traders flocked to this rowdy town, where duels were fought, and mischief was aplenty. Today, it's a peaceful resort town with charming architecture and stunning beaches, but its colorful past still lingers in the stories and historic sites scattered around town.
