If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful place to visit in Kyoto, Jizo-in Temple is a great option. It is not as well-known and not as crowded as some of the other Temples, but it is a beautiful and peaceful place to visit.
The Temple is surrounded by a bamboo forest. There is a small Heart Shaped window with a forest view and a small Japanese garden where you can sit and relax.
It might be more crowded in November during Momiji (red maples).
In January, the Temple is open only on weekends, national holidays, and the first three days of the year.
