Amazing Onsen with a variety of baths, including a relaxing rock bath, and a restaurant serving seasonal dishes.
HOW TO GET TO THIS ONSEN:
There is a free shuttle bus from Hon-Kawagoe Station. I’ve attached a photo of the bus schedule, but since it may change, please double-check it here:

Please refer to the attached photo number two—I’ve circled the column where you should check the time (Hon-Kawagoe Station 本川越駅).
The bus departs from the bus stop in front of this restaurant:

I’ve attached photos of the bus stop and the bus (please check the third and the fourth photos).
The bus returns to the same station.
How to enter the onsen:
At the entrance, you’ll need to take off your shoes. There are vending machines where you can buy a ticket (English is available). The entrance fee is ¥1000. Don’t forget to also get a ticket for towels, which costs ¥350.
After that, hand your ticket to the reception and receive a wristband - any additional expenses, like a massage or lunch, will be added to it.
When leaving, return the wristband at the reception and pay for any extras you incurred inside the onsen. You’ll receive a receipt, which you’ll need to scan at the gate on your way out (check out the lfifth attached photo).
It gets extremely crowded on weekends.
