Nestled in the heart of Polignano a Mare, this famous beach will win you over with its crystal-clear turquoise waters and picturesque rocky cliffs. Note that it's a small pebbly beach and it gets crowded even before summer (it's already packed in May), so it might not be the most ideal beach in Puglia for a tranquil time under the sun. That said, the water here is amazing, so taking a swim (some even swim around the sea caves in the area) is a good option. In the shoulder season, when it's almost empty, you can just listen to the subtle sound of the waves and enjoy the serene scenery.
