Deep in the mountains of Tokushima, the community has renovated this abandoned elementary school, turning it into guesthouse, cafe, and spa. Classrooms are converted into rooms, and there's an on-site sauna, pizza, and a cat shelter. At the cafe, they roast their own beans on site, making one of the best brews in the deep Iya Valley.
