If you are at Lake Cauma, make sure you do the easy hike to have a gorgeous view over the Rhine Canyon. How to get there: From Lake Cauma its an easy hike. After only 40 minutes along the Rhine you arrive already at the observation deck which itself has a wonderful architecture but the views are spectacular. The Platform is called Il Spir. From there I suggest to keep walking and you pass the railway bridge and end up in Versam-Safien. Total amountt is 2.5 hours and its free of charge.
