One of Switzerland’s most dramatic suspension bridges, 170 m long and about 100 m above a glacier-fed gorge. From the middle you see the turquoise lake and the retreating Trift glacier.

🚠 Start: Triftbahn cable car (Gadmen), then a marked uphill trail to the bridge
⏱ Distance & time: ~2.7–3.0 km each way • ~1.5–2 h one way • 3–4 h round trip

How to get there

• Train+bus to “Gadmen, Triftbahn”

• Drive to Triftbahn valley station (parking onsite)

Tips

• Trail is steep and rocky in places. Good shoes are a must.

• If you don’t want to cross, you can still enjoy the viewpoint near the bridge.

• Small cabin lift with time slots in summer. Pre-book on busy days.
