The Banff Sign is located at the entrance of Banff town. It's a popular landmark that welcomes you to this stunning town and is a great place to get a quick photo before you start your adventure into the Candian Rockies!

The most convenient parking is at the Fenlands Banff Recreation Centre, located at 100 Mt Norquay Rd, Banff, AB T1L 1C3. This parking lot offers free parking for up to 3 hours and is just a short walk from the sign. After parking, use the pedestrian crossing to safely access the sign across the road.

For real-time parking availability and additional parking options in Banff, you can check out BanffParking.ca.

The best time to visit is either early morning (before 9 AM) or golden hour (late afternoon). Midday can be very busy, especially in summer.

NOTE: Do not attempt to park along Mt Norquay Road; it's unsafe and illegal. Also, this area can see elk and deer, especially in spring and fall. Maintain distance, and do not feed or approach animals.
