Hidden away in the little village of Badger in Shropshire, Badger Dingle is such a lovely spot if you're after a bit of nature, some low-key adventure, a paddle and a sprinkle of history.
š¶āāļø Woodland Walks with a Story
Thereās an easy 2-mile circular trail that winds through the woodsāshady, green, and super peaceful. It takes around an hour, and itās perfect for kids who like to explore. Youāll come across old features like a rotunda and a quirky little ābird houseā folly, which adds a fun twist to the usual forest walk.
š¦ Waterfalls & Paddling
Halfway round thereās a little waterfall and shallow brook where the kids can paddle. Itās a great spot to stop for a snack or just let them splash about for a bitāespecially if itās warm.
This isnāt just a pretty walkāit's got history too. The whole area was landscaped back in the 1700s, so as you go around youāll spot old garden structures and water features that have been there for centuries. It gives the whole place a magical, almost secret-garden feel.
