Kawaguchiko Station is where most people arrive when exploring the Fuji Five Lakes area, and it’s such a great starting point.

We arrived into here and stayed the night and honestly, the first thing you notice is the view! Mount Fuji towering in the distance is absolutely unreal.

The station itself is small but super convenient, with buses and trains connecting you to all the main tourist spots.

There’s even a little observation deck where you can grab photos of Fuji if the weather plays nice.

It’s the perfect welcome to this stunning area and a must for your itinerary!
