The RMS Queen Mary, launched in 1936, once served as one of the most famous luxury ocean liners in the world before being permanently docked in Long Beach, California in 1967. During World War II the ship was converted into a troop transport, carrying thousands of soldiers across the Atlantic.

Today the ship is widely considered one of the most haunted locations in the United States. Visitors and staff have reported sightings of apparitions, unexplained footsteps, and strange voices throughout the ship, particularly in the engine room and first-class pool area.
