The Whitsundays are out of this world, and if you have the chance to visit them or fly over them, it’s impossible to pick what part of the Whitsundays is more beautiful. Whitehaven Beach is easily the most famous beach in the Whitsundays though.

You’ll need to travel by boat to reach the island, and you can either book on to a boat tour or do what we did and hire a charter boat with a few friends. This was perfect to spread the cost of the charter and gave us so much more flexibility to explore this gorgeous paradise.

The sandbars and inlets easily mean you can spend the day here relaxing on the boat and the beach, snorkelling and swimming out to sandbars to see the amazing wildlife here too.
