Bridestowe Lavender Estate is the largest lavender farm in the Southern Hemisphere and is home to over 20 varieties of lavender, found 50 minutes from Launceston. We love this place so much we've been twice! It's a seriously beautiful place to visit, and let's be honest - the perfect spot for a few Insta photos.

It is very important to check whether the flowers are in bloom before you head here, to avoid dissapointment. Typically the flowers are in bloom from December to January. You can check their website to see the 'status' of the flowers before you visit. During the flowering season it costs $20 for entry but otherwise it is free to enter.

P.s. We definitely recommend trying the lavender icecream here!
