At Friendly Beaches, basic camping is available at Isaacs Point on a first-in, first-served basis

Friendly Beaches Campground is a basic, sandy beachfront site on Tasmania’s east coast, so come prepared for wind, sun and salt spray. You should assume there is only basic infrastructure: picnic tables and toilets but no potable water, power or showers, so pack plenty of drinking water, a stove and all supplies. The access road is unsealed and can be soft after rain, phone reception is patchy, and swimming can be cold with strong currents, so take care and check conditions before you go. Pets and open fires are generally not permitted in the reserve, and you need to carry out all rubbish. The upside is easy beach access, great sunsets and good chances of seeing shorebirds and wallabies if you arrive quietly.
