Cascade Brewery is the oldest operating brewery in Australia (founded in 1824!) The brewery is in a stunning building with ivy-covered walls, copper brewing vats, and a towering chimney.

The Cascade Brewery Tour is super informative and definitely worth doing if you have the time! They take you through the brewery and the process they use from start to finish to make their beers (note this is an 18+ tour). Finish the tour by enjoying a bevvie or two in the brewery's ornamental gardens. Be sure to book in advance as it does book out.

Photography Tip: Head to the road outside of the brewery at sunset to get an epic shot of the architecture and Mt Wellington/kunanyi. Use a zoom lens to make the mountain really stand out.
