Corinna Wilderness Village is a small, remote village located in the Tarkine region, situated on the banks of the Pieman River surrounded by lush rainforest. This is one of the most remote and beautiful places we have ever visited - where you will truly feel at one with nature.

You can choose to camp by the river bank here (for ~$40) or stay in a cottage or eco retreat. We highly recommend booking in advance for all accomodation.

While at the village you can take one of the wilderness walks through the rainforest (and see a rare Huon Pine), kayak or take a boat tour along the Pieman River to Lovers Falls (we detail this out in a seperate activity) or have a pub feed and drink at the Tannin restaurant.

NOTE: if you're heading from the south or to the south to Corrina you will need to take a barge across the river which costs $28 for a standard vehicle.
