Located just below Top of the Pines and off the main path from Country Road 7 (towards the main Sneffels Overlook), I much prefer the vantage point here of Sneffels being nearly straight on from the front. Given you are looking South, it is great for both sunrise and sunset. This view is both handheld camera and drone friendly. The photos seen above are all shot at sunrise over the years.
