Hello Mallory

Best time to photograph -- sunset

This is a steep bushwack to this viewpoint without an official trail. I've shared my trek in the website link from Gaia, although all routes go up and I think I've hiked about 8 different ways to this viewpoint. I prefer this trek as it avoids a lot of downed trees, and takes you up the back side, which is less steep than through the meadow below. It also minimizes impact to the vegetation.

Dog friendly, however this trail is very steep with a lot of bushwacking. Not ideal for dogs unless you don't have a choice.

Distance - 2 miles RT

Elevation Gain - 850 feet

2024 Update — I’ve been told the rock near the main viewpoint is extremely crumbly and may require 3 points of touch. Please use best judgement when choosing your steps at the top.
