Dildo is one of those places people visit mostly because of the name—it definitely sparks curiosity and a few laughs. The town has leaned into the quirkiness, and while the name has a long history dating back to the early 1700s, that’s kind of where the intrigue stops. To be totally honest, it ended up being an underwhelming stop for us. Unless you’re already passing through the area, I wouldn’t go out of your way to visit.
