Overview
Osaka Castle Park is a historic site built around Osaka Castle, a symbol of power during Japan’s unification under Toyotomi Hideyoshi in the late 1500s. The castle has seen destruction and reconstruction through the centuries, making it a landmark of resilience. The park is especially popular in spring, when thousands of cherry trees bloom, drawing locals and tourists for hanami (flower viewing).
