What to expect
Jade dragon mountain also known as Yulong Snow Mountain is a high‑altitude alpine park reaching up to 4650m. A cable car will drop you off at 4,500m so expect rapidly changing weather with the clearest views in the morning. The views from up there are honestly insane but take things slow as there is a risk of high altitude sickness due to the fast attitude shift. Oxygen Canisters and chocolate can help you to lower your symptoms.

How to get there
• 30–45 min drive from Lijiang Old Town
• Make sure to book at least 3-6 days in advance to secure your ticket
• Cable cars connect lower areas to higher zones

Best time to shoot
• Season: March–May, Sept–Nov
• Time: Early morning for cloud movement, late afternoon for contrast
