Sulsseewli is a small, peaceful mountain lake in the Swiss Alps, near the village of Lauterbrunnen. It sits high up in the mountains and is surrounded by beautiful alpine scenery, including views of famous peaks like the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau.
The lake is about a 15-minute walk from a cozy mountain hut called the Lobhornhütte. It’s a quiet and relaxing spot, perfect for a break during a hike. To get there, many people take a cable car to the small hamlet of Sulwald and then hike through forests and meadows. I took the cable car from Lauterbrunnen to Grütschalp and hiked to the Lobhornhütte. Look at the seperate pinpoint to find all the details and links to the hike!
Sulsseewli is not very well-known, so it’s a great place to enjoy nature away from the crowds and enjoy something cold to drink from the Lobhornhütte nearby.
