🔎 Overview:

• Location: Nidwalden / Uri border, Central Switzerland

• Difficulty: Moderate to Challenging

• Distance: ~9km

• Elevation Gain: ~570m

• Best Season: Late June to October

🏔️Highlights

• Panoramic summit views from 2,407 meters

• Varied trail through meadows, and rocky alpine terrain

• Views of Lake Lucerne, Uri Alps, Engelberg, and even the Bernese Alps

• Wildflowers and grazing cattle in summer months

• A less-touristy alternative to nearby peaks
  

🚗Getting There

• Go to the cable car station Niederrickenbach in Dallenwil.

• Take the cable car to Niederrickenbach

• Walk 30mins to the Lift that takes you to Haldigrat

🥾Trail Description

• Start your hike at the Berggasthaus Haldigrat and you will hike to the Brisen.

• You can then do two things: either go the same way back or what I did: continue to Klewenalp!
