Directions

Háifoss Waterfall, located in Iceland's stunning Þjórsárdalur Valley, is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Iceland. (that not that many people know about) You will also see its ,,smaller'' brother Grannifoss on the right side of the canyon.

🚗 Road: 332 is a rough gravel road,, 4x4 recommended
🅿️ Parking: Free

🚶Distance from car: Short walk to the viewpoint (300m/980ft)

❄️ Winter: Only summer access (until the first snow)
🥾Hike: You can also hike down down to the canyon. Simply follow the path along the canyon's edge. The hike will add another 1-1.5 hour to your visit (4.5km/2.8mi) but standing at the bottom right next to the waterfall is an amazing experience. (expect a lot of water spray!) Downside is that you will have to hike back up the same route.

🚁 Drones: Not allowed
