Directions

Sahale Glacier Campground, situated in the majestic North Cascades National Park, is an alpine campers dream spot. This stunning location has breathtaking views of nearby mountain peaks and clear dark star-filled skies at night. The site is situated at 7,400 feet, making it one of the highest elevation campsites in the National Park. Sahale Glacier Campground is accessible via a 12-mile hike from Cascade Pass Trailhead through the Sahale Arm Trail or by securing a permit either with an advanced reservation (March 15th to April 15th) or hoping for a day-of walk-up ticket (recommended, arrive early!). Those willing to make the trek and secure the permit are rewarded with incredible moments, from sunsets over snow-capped peaks,Pack your best camping gear and be sure to bring extra warm clothing, as this beautiful altitude can get very chilly at night. Don't forget sunscreen too, as you don't want to get burned by the intense sun rays! If you're feeling adventurous, Sahale Glacier Campground is the perfect spot for an unforgettable nature escape.
