This historic vineyard is nestled within the hills of Marlboro and has unparalleled panoramic views of the Hudson River Valley. The winery is America's oldest vineyard and holds New York Farm Winery license no.1.
At Benmarl Winery, they take pride in producing a diverse range of 20 hand-crafted wine varietals. Noteworthy selections include their estate grown Seyval Blanc and Cabernet Franc, Riesling sourced on Seneca Lake, and Merlot from the north fork of Long Island.
While visiting, you'll have the chance to participate in guided tastings and learn more about the winemaking process. Throughout the year, Benmarl Winery also hosts various events, such as wine release parties and live music performances. Visit in August for the Benmarl Winery's Sangria Festival, which includes tastings of their homemade, fresh fruit sangrias.
Go here if you want to try A LOT of wines or have a large group. Benmarl offers a large variety so this is a great place to visit if you just want to stay in one place instead of hopping between wineries
Benmarl is open year round, but the best time to visit is during the summer so you can enjoy the views from the patio.
