One of the most photogenic spots on Lake Champlain

The Crown Point Lighthouse sits beside the ruins of an old military fort with incredible views of Lake Champlain and Vermont. It's a quick stop, but the history and scenery make it well worth pulling over for

Pro Tip: Most visitors don't realize there's a campground right next to the lighthouse. If you're spending a few days exploring the Champlain Valley, it's a unique spot to camp on the lake with easy access to the lighthouse, historic fort ruins, and nearby Fort Ticonderoga.
