The atmosphere feels quirky and eclectic. Kind of like what you'd expect in the Pacific Northwest but surprisingly nestled in upstate New York.

Don't let the modest roadside appearance fool you - Stonecat is a total vibe! This cute restaurant on the southeast shore of Seneca Lake transforms out back with tons of ambient lighting and a gorgeous bar with wide open views of the hills around Seneca Lake.

How it works: Walk in, order at the counter, then find a seat inside or out back with various seating options.

What I ordered: A perfect three-course meal including asparagus soup, scallops, and dessert with wine pairings. The prices are very reasonable, especially for dinner in the Finger Lakes.
