Yes, Hermanus is a cute little town with beautiful coast lines and of course famous for the whale watching opportunities. I do recommend however, that you really check out the countless art galleries (there are more than 20!) in the city. The best opportunity to do so is First Friday, when all art galleries are open late and people mingle in the town center.
