Those sand pyramids are a special natural phenomenon – you can find similar ones in Serbia and Tyrol here in Europe, but the ones in Bosnia and Herzegovina are not known by many travelers at all, so chances are, you will have this sight all to yourself when you visit!

The pyramids were naturally created of sandy clay that was gradually stripped of fine material. Winds, rains, snows, severe frosts, and summer heat washed, dried, blew away, solidified, and in their natural form created pyramids built of stronger blocks of rock with imposing pointed tops over a long period of time.

The road leading there is not the best, there is not touristic infrastructure at all, but you don't neexd a 4x4 to get there.
