🇬🇧 In 1969, Banja Luka was shaken by a devastating earthquake. Large parts of the city were completely destroyed and rebuilt - that's why Banja Luka looks very modern and new, wide avenues with lots of trees were created and the city was redesigned. The "Banja Luka Earthquake Monument" is located in the center of the King Square – the clock still shows the exact time of the earthquake.
