You probably did not know that Livno is the only place in the world, alongside Mongolia and Iceland, where you can see big herds of around 800 wild horses roaming freely! Back in the day, horses were used for transport, work in the field, and as a mode of transportation. But with the industrialization, they lost their purpose and many of them were set free. Those horses gathered on the plateau "Kruzi" and for the first time in history they had become completely free. I don't recommend you go looking out for them – first, because they often roam the mountains off-road and second of all because you want to treat them with respect and carefulness. So it's better to book a tour with expert guides and let them show you the beauty of the wild herds! This surely is one of the most special activities you can have in Bosnia and Herzegovina!
