The Karl Knapp Trail is an exciting and beautiful 2.9-mile loop located in Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park and Redwood National Park near Orick, California. With an elevation gain of 213 feet, it provides spectacular views of old growth redwood forests which includes a fallen redwood that you can even walk through! Depending on the season, wildflowers, wildlife, and rivers can also be seen during this moderately challenging hike.
