The McCloud Falls trail is a beautiful spot with three stunning waterfalls to explore. The trail winds through a canyon of basalt lava rock, offering year-round fun like summer swimming, fall foliage, and an early spring thaw. You can start at Lower Falls and hike upstream to Middle Falls and Upper Falls, enjoying the smooth, well-maintained path along the way. Just be sure to watch out for changing river conditions and exercise caution when swimming or jumping in the water. It's a great place to get outside and enjoy the beauty of nature!

Our recommendation, park at the Upper Falls parking lot where there is a short 0.8mi down and back trail.
Pet-friendly: Yes, must be leashed and well-behaved

Soft adventure: Yes, with some slight downhill and uphill hiking
