Kolkannokka in Ruissalo is a small coastal headland that feels like a quiet little adventure at the edge of the archipelago. A short walk from the parking area takes you to rocky outcrops and sheltered bays, with open views toward the sea.
In summer, this is a great place for swimming, kayaking, or SUP boarding, as well as relaxed sunset photography. During winter, Kolkannokka transforms into a dramatic location where you can capture harsh storms rolling across the archipelago coast. The changing weather and exposed shoreline make it especially rewarding for coastal landscape photography.
There are no services on site, so bring water, snacks, and a windproof layer, and wear sturdy shoes as the rocks can be uneven and slippery with seaweed. Parking and signage are limited, and some paths run close to private property, so stick to visible trails and pack out everything you bring with you.
