Uponneet tukkiveneet in Emäsalo is one of my personal hidden drone photography spots.

From ground level, the scene feels modest, but once you lift the drone, everything changes. Two old wooden boats lie half-sunken in the shallow water—partly visible above the surface and partly submerged. On calm, clear days, the water transparency allows the boats to reveal their full shape, creating strong graphic compositions for both photos and video.

This spot works best in good light and low wind, when reflections and water clarity are at their best. Fly responsibly, stay aware of traffic when launching from the roadside, and take your time framing the scene. When everything aligns, this small, hidden location can deliver truly spectacular drone shots.
