No matter the time of the year, nature in Kilpisjärvi is stunning! Kilpisjärvi village sits at the foot of well known fell (Saana Fell) at the north border of Finland. The road from Muonio to Kilpisjärvi is already one of the epic roads I know, and when you eventually get closer to the Kilpisjärvi village and see the iconic Saana Fell.. *speechless* Kilpisjärvi Visitor Centre is also a place to visit, after a long hike in the Arctic high-fell area a glass of white wine doesn't taste better than there.
