Reykjavik is the Capital of Iceland and home the ⅔ of Iceland's Population. What are the top 10 things to do in Reykjavik? If you have a spare day on your trip in Iceland, here are a bunch of activities in Reykjavik. This list can also come in handy on bad weather days, road closure days, or if your tour was canceled. Here is a list of the best things to do in Reykjavik:

1. See REAL hot lava at the Lava Show This would also be a great stop for kids.

2. Get a tastey foodie tour of Iceland on the Reykjavik Food Tour This is the #1 in all of Iceland, and one of my favorite things to do in Reykjavik.

3. Visit the Perlan Natual Wonders of Iceland Museum. There is an amazing Northern Lights exhibition here as well that I reccomend seeing. There is also an Ice Cave to walk through here, I think it's the coolest musuem in all of Iceland. Kids would also love this!

4. Soak in the Sky Lagoon one of the most beautiful lagoons in all of Iceland, you'll be able to spend a few hours relaxing in this beautiful infinity hot spring.

5. Go whale watching with Elding Whale Watching They will suit you up and take you for a day of adventure to find the local sealife around Iceland.

6. Visit the The Settlement Exhibition to learn about how Vikings lived and settled in Iceland. Kid Friendly!

7. Swim in the sea and hot spring at Nauthólsvík Geothermal Beach kids 10+ allowed.

8. Explore Hallgrímskirkja and take the elevator to the top for a small fee to get great views of Reykjavik.

9. Play darts and have a pint at Bullseye or Skor, a few favorite past time for Icelanders

10. Learn about the history of Iceland at the National Museum of Iceland
