This might be your first glacier outlet encounter in Iceland! You can easily walk from the parking lot to the base of the glacier on your own, about 10-15 minutes. Enjoy from the viewing area or walk down to the base and edge of the lake. The volcanic ash on this glacier makes it unique. Please do not go on the glacier without a trained guide.
