Iconic Church overlooking the town of Vík. This is a great stop just to get a view of the sea stacks and town of Vík. From the end of May to the beginning of July the hill is covered with lupine fields. The road above the church leads to an old cemetery which can also be interesting to check out

If the road is not muddy or snowy, you CAN drive up the dirt road behind the church, even though it may seem steep, I have driven this road with the smallest car in Iceland.
