Kittat Economusée in Nuuk is a cool spot where you can check out the traditional Greenlandic costumes being made. From sewing intricate skin embroideries to designing beadwork, you'll get a firsthand look at the craft behind these beautiful costumes. Plus, you can even buy parts of the costume or other souvenirs on-site.

An Economusee is a handcraft business, where visitors can view the whole work process and through displays, exhibition and meeting the people working get a deeper understanding of what it takes to create a tradtional Greenlandic Costume.

It's a unique and cultural experience that gives you a deeper appreciation for Greenlandic traditions.

Even if you are not quite ready to order your own costume, parts of the costume and other mementos can be bought on site. The workshop accepts only DKK, Dankort and Akiliut Card.
