What you’ll do

This itinerary is for the ones who want to experience the pristine beauty and beach vibes of the South West! You'll get the chance to uncover all the most amazing and remote white sand beaches and the bluest water and also discover Australia's Golden Outback! 🏖️

Here you will find all the best spots, beaches, bays, free campgrounds, along the way along with our personal photo tips and travel hacks.

The itinerary goes from Perth to Esperance, covering the whole coast, part of the outback and Cape LeGrand National Park (start from the last day if you are travelling from Esperance to Perth!)

Please note that many spots require a WA National Park Pass and we highly recommend getting an annual all parks pass as it's only 120$ and it covers the whole of WA while daily passes are 15$ a day.

Very important: some spots are only reachable by 4WD so make sure you check the description of the spot to see if it's suitable for a normal car or for an alternative 🚙

Are you ready to experience the ultimate beach life in the South West?

Day 1 on the road to uncover the South West!

Leave Perth and drive to Busselton which will be your first stop or the trip. The Jetty itself is pretty peculiar but what is worth a visit in our opinion is the underwater observatory at the end of it or even better snorkelling the natural aquarium underneath the bridge 🐠

After spending the morning in Busselton head to Castle Rock beach to chill in the afternoon. The beach and water are some of the best we have seen!

Head to Canebrake Pool Camping area for the night for free
