I always love places where the sea, colorful houses, and lively atmosphere come together - and Smögenbryggan is exactly that. Walking along the pier, with its iconic boathouses, little shops, and restaurants, is such a special experience. It’s one of Sweden’s most popular summer spots. Is it my favorite village along the West-Coast? No. Is it worth the attention? Maybe! Worth a visit? Yes! But I enjoyed Grundsun and Lysekil more, to be honest.
If you’re visiting by car, it’s best to park just outside the main area and walk in. The largest option is Smögenbryggans Parkering. There are also parking options at Sandöns Parkering.
