Grundsund is, in my opinion, one of the most photogenic places on Sweden’s West Coast. With its idyllic houses, fishing boats coming and going, and beautiful coastal views, it’s such a special place to explore. If you’re visiting the West Coast, I definitely recommend adding Grundsund to your itinerary.

Here are a few tips:

• Wander through the village and along the harbor to really take in the atmosphere

• Walk the Strandpromenaden towards Vigerna - the walk starts in the northern part of Grundsund. Head towards Restaurang Pelles and you’ll find the boardwalk. The views along the way are amazing

• Parking is limited, so it’s best to try parking near the ICA

A perfect stop for a relaxed stroll and some truly scenic views.
