Noboribetsu Bear Park is a must visit attraction for all animal-lovers and those in search of a unique experience. Located atop “Bear Mountain” in the Lake Kuttara area, this park has over sixty brown bears which are native to Hokkaido. The Ainu people, the native Hokkaido people worshiped these creatures as gods, and here visitors can observe them up close. Activities like feeding the animals can be done, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout the park, including at the observation deck overlooking Lake Kuttara. Additionally, entrance fees are reasonable with discounts available on advance tickets, making it ideal for an enjoyable day out.
