Takenohama Beach is located in the Hyogo Prefecture of Japan. This scenic beach, on a narrow strip of land known as a tombolo, is one of the famous 100 shorelines of Japan. In the past, this area was part of Izushi Domain and produced salt. Visitors can explore a Salt Workshop where ancient driftwood is used to fuel overnight activities. With pristine sandy beaches and lots of exciting activities, Takenohama offers something for everyone!
