Jacking Horse is the most popular and crowded beginner spot, located on a busy beach around the Cloud 9 area. It's best for those who have travelled to Siargao to learn how to surf or those who want fast and easy access to the waves for a quick surf. Just be cautious of the strong sideways current which makes it super challenging to paddle back to the lineup after catching a wave.

There are many surf shacks around where you can hire an instructor and rent boards. The area also offers a cool mix of cafes, delicious restaurants, and many people who relax at the beach, soaking up the beach and surf vibes. At certain times, there is a 100₱/1.80$/1.60€ Environmental Fee when accessing the area.
