Cemetery is by far my most favourite surf spot in GL although you have to take a boat to reach the break. The waves are usually super mellow and perfect for longboarders but it can also have powerful and challenging waves.

The boat station is just across from Siargao Corner Cafe, and then follow the dirt road across from the cafe to the beach and you’ll see all the motorbikes parked and boats going to the break (if there are not bikes, then it's probably not worth it to go out). Since many people are constantly coming and going from Cemetery, you can easily hop on the next boat heading out there. The short boat ride is 150₱/2.70$/2,40 per person.

Direction: Mainly left: The main surfing area of Cemetary is a 500m stretch of reef with about 5 different left-handed peaks to choose from. However, there’s also ‘Cemetary right’ which is a right-handed wave that you get to by paddling out to the right where the boats drop you off.

Surf Level: Intermediate but can be beginner to advanced depending on season & swell

Surfboard Rental: A few shacks around at the boat station

Best wind: South West

Best swell size: 4 - 12 ft

Best swell direction: North East

Best tide: Any tide works but it's best at low tide.
