Parque das Ruínas, located in the Santa Teresa neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, is a cool spot built around the ruins of a mansion. Once the home of Laurinda Santos Lobo, it now serves as a cultural center with an art gallery and outdoor concerts.

One of the most special things about Parque das Ruínas is that it offers a 180-degree view of Rio de Janeiro. You can see almost the entire city center from up here, along with a few other neighborhoods. It is a great place to visit during a day exploring the Santa Teresa neighborhood.

PS: it is closed on Mondays!
